The new range of RESU batteries from LG Chem provide the most optimal energy solution for the users using its state-of-the-art energy storage. LG Chem, the South Korean company with the biggest share of the grid-connected battery storage market in Australia, has released its new generation systems, promising they will offer more choice, and be cheaper, smaller, lighter, and with improved aesthetics. Lg Chem offers customers a long 10 year warranty.
The three low-voltage battery systems (48 volt) are being offered in 3.3kWh, 6.5kWh and 9.9kWh units, while 7kWh and 9.8kWh high voltage (400 volt) battery systems are also being offered. A great benfeit of the LG Chem is that another battery can be added at a later date.
Pictured below is an off-grid system we recently installed using a SMA Sunny Island with a LG Chem Resu 10. With 9.8kws of usable power and a peak of 7kws for 3 seconds, the customer will have more then enough power to run a standard house.
